We got off the boat and explored Jamaica, got some jerk chicken, and hit the beach before heading back to the boat to get Day 3 of music under way.
Our night started with Cory Wong! Cory gave us his patented speed funk with everyone in matching track suits. Thick, heavy, and groovy lines from everyone in the band had the boat dancing and throwing their hands up in the air.
From there we moved to TAUK. This set billed as just TAUK instead of their previous set of TAUK Moore. We spent close to an hour watching the prog rockers taking the black and white lounge through trippy face melting jams. They still brought out Kanika for a few tunes as well!
The full power of jam cruise was shown in full force as we continued basically shifting to different stages every hour and then to the jam headliner Moe. Moe opened the show with essentially a Meat tease after teasing the song a bunch on night 1. A big highlight of the night was 32 Things that had a huge jam complete with a face melting Al solo that is highly recommended listening when it comes out on nugs.net. Sound issues plagued the band after their 3rd song forcing us to walk away.
We made our way onto the pool deck for Jam Cruise favorites Cool Cool Cool. This time equipped with many more of their own songs then the previous time I had seen them, we all thoroughly enjoyed the Cool Cool Cool funk dance party. These guys continue to grow their own and less and less mention of their previous band happens each festival and show I see them at.

We stopped into the buffet for a quick snack before making a quick turn around to our second iteration of Cut Chemist and Chali 2na. The setlist for these 2 seemed relatively the same from our first encounter but nonetheless still was a fun time for the little bit that we did see.
And finally we walked and saw the last hour of Dumpstaphunk. This is the band’s only set this jam cruise and they absolutely made the most of it. Huge jams, collective harmonies, and that raspy soul we all know and love from Ivan Neville finished off night 3 in such a perfect way.
