I am excitedly awaiting the release of this film Stepping Into Tomorrow being written and directed by Jason Orr and my friend Jamal Ahmad. It looks amazing as a historical perspective of the birth and development of JAZZ FUNK music. The time period happens happens to correspond to the genesis and span of my personal musical awareness. One of the interviewees also happens to be Snarky Puppy’s own Michael League.
